Humanitarian help
After the invasion of the full-scale invasion of Russia in Ukraine, we are beginning to adapt to new living conditions, and other countries of the world are gradually learning about the consequences of Russia from the agenda
Since February 24, 2022, the "Vector of Hope" Fund has been operating in an enhanced mode. On a permanent basis, we transferred humanitarian aid to the civilian population, provided for the military. Our volunteers visited territories controlled by Ukraine in various regions, where they distributed food, personal hygiene products, warm clothes, etc. Since the beginning of 2022, 20+ vehicles have been handed over for more effective performance of combat tasks by the military. In the first months of the war, we received many appeals from people who wanted to help. These were both foreign funds and ordinary entrepreneurs. Servicemen of other countries who wanted to give help to our Defenders appealed. However, volunteers who were ready to perform various tasks to improve the humanitarian situation in Ukraine applied.
1. We remind you that for two weeks, our volunteers completed a training course aimed at understanding children's trauma and the process of healing play. At the moment, we are preparing a project using the knowledge gained at the training.
The game helps release emotions in adults, teenagers, and children. The main thing is to release emotions and not harm health. After all, an unlived emotion that a child has hidden inside can turn into a psychosomatic disorder. That is why it was allowed to run with automatic weapons, and shout loudly in dances, and fall "wounded" and "killed" Soon we will start a new project of psychological assistance to children.
2. Also, after the beginning of the mass invasion, we organized familiarization classes with horses for children who came to Lviv from different parts of the country. Skating, distracting at such a difficult time, communication with animals helps a child get rid of loneliness, strengthens self-esteem, some children even share their experiences and secrets with these animals. The feeling of aggression and anxiety leaves them. From the first lesson, they showed excellent results: they quickly mastered the basics of riding, learned to understand horses.
We are glad that we were able to give positive emotions to our guests and we look forward to meeting you at the "Silver Thank You" Equestrian Club.
3.Volunteers organized a free photo session for the cadets of the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachny.
5. Since February 24, we have received many calls from people fleeing shelling. They had nowhere to go and needed to quickly figure out how to change the situation.
In a short period of time, we found a place for 50 people to live in Transcarpathia. It was there that our volunteers, who were staying at the hotel, organized mathematics and English lessons. We additionally equipped the hotel with mattresses and beds, constantly brought essentials. We tried to do everything possible to make the children feel safe and have fun.
6. February 24 undoubtedly changed the course of European history. This date clearly showed - "who is a friend, and who is just like that." The Poles stood by Ukraine not only by helping refugees, but also by repelling Russian aggression and supporting the Armed Forces. Our volunteers visited our fellow Poles several times and conveyed greetings from Ukrainian soldiers from the front line. As a combat relic, the Polish military keeps in the military unit 2 flags from the front lines, which were handed over by our volunteers - this is the flag from the special operations forces unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the second is from the anti-aircraft missile brigade, which defends the skies of Ukraine in the area of hostilities.
During the meeting, we handed over the Ukrainian flag signed by our defenders.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to our Polish friends for their contribution to the fight against Russian aggression.
7. Irpin was damaged by 71%, but stopped the attack of the "Moscow Horde" on Kyiv.
The settlements northwest of Kyiv suffered the greatest destruction in the Kyiv region. Russian troops entered there from the side of Belarus. They fired at residential buildings and civilians, although the Russian leadership stated that their target would be only military facilities.
According to estimates, more than 350,000 objects and millions of square meters of residential, educational, medical, sports infrastructure were destroyed in the country, thousands of kilometers of highways and railways, airports, ports and much more were damaged. Some of these objects can be restored, some are completely destroyed.
8. On a permanent basis, we brought goodies, gifts and mood to families with children. Until recently, such areas were under occupation, but now communication, electricity and communications have just been restored here. We also visit IDP centers where people who have been forced to leave their homes live.
9. On an ongoing basis, we provide humanitarian aid to civilians and military personnel. To the training centers of the Armed Forces, where the first-line operational reserve is being prepared. To refugee centers, which receive people on a permanent basis, and orphanages. People living in frontline areas receive help. The military, who are on the front lines and those who defend the Ukrainian sky. We are doing everything to bring our Victory closer!
