They are our air shield, our "dome", our air defense - those who hold Ukrainian sky

Someone will read about the consequences of the shelling in the morning news, someone will be notified by phone. However, for the soldiers of the anti-aircraft missile forces, everything becomes obvious already in the first seconds. They are the ones who close the sky, frightened by shells and rockets, for each of us.

They fought with the enemy in the sky, but they were ready to give battle to the occupiers on the ground as well. Several times they got into extremely dangerous situations, they found themselves practically surrounded, they were fired upon by artillery. This is all the history of air defense units, the history of Ukraine. All of it is recorded in combat logs.

Today we visited our friends - soldiers of the Lviv Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment named after Ivan Vyhovskyi. This Ragiment carry out a combat mission to protect the airspace of the northwestern region of Ukraine. In addition, servicemen of the regiment take an active part in units covered from airstrikes in the area of combat operations in the East and South of Ukraine.

During our visit and transfer of humanitarian aid received from 1 PBOT, an air raid alert was sounded. A well-coordinated algorithm of military operations ensured the timely repulse of an air threat.

The secret of military success: motivation is extraordinary, because Ukrainians are defending their own land. And every successful combat launch is someone's saved life, destinies, surviving houses, important objects.
