Social support for IDPs
russia's invasion to Ukraine in February 2022 caused one of the biggest humanitarian crises in recent European history. The war continues, and this leads to an increase in the number of victims, destructions and people's evacuation inside Ukraine and abroad.
Since February 24, we have received many calls from people fleeing shelling. They had nowhere to go and needed to quickly figure out how to change the situation. In a short period of time, we found a villa to live in Zakarpattya. The next issue that arose in the process is the question of financing.
Mountain Seed Foundation is an American foundation that quickly responded to our request to help financialy for accommodation for IDPs. During the first three months of the large-scale invasion, we managed to co-rent a private villa "Noyiv Kovcheh" and provide free accommodation to evacuees. We provided living to about 50 people, most of them were mothers with small children. Our volunteers regularly brought food, toys, stationery and other things. They also held interesting classes and educational games.
Our unity, our attention to each other, our ability to fight and work together for common interests are a guarantee of Ukrainian victory and the defeat of terrorists. There is no such weapon that can break the people who realize what they are fighting for and what they will never forgive the enemy!
